It's already 6pm and we're just eating "lunch." We didn't even do the mani-pedi's. The waiting time at this place from activity to activity is soooooooo long and drawn out. Chips that were supposed to come with our order, did not arrive. How would they know if I even eat honey mustard? The lady said she'd be back with my drink. They didn't have any Mango sauce left, so they brought honey mustard. When we did finally get our lunch, the sandwiches came in a to-go container. First off, when we got there, we were STARVING and did not eat because we were expecting to have lunch when we got there. The sound of the soaking tub water was actually quite calm. I enjoyed it very much, my masseuse was this nice Spanish lady who spoke a little English. Then one of our masseuse told us to dry off and get on the massage table. We went into the soaking tub for about 30-45 minutes. Robe barely fits, shoes aren't the right size. Finally one of the masseuse came and got us. Big exposed AC duct/vent in the ceiling which is not covered with any kind of filter or cap. The floor looked like it wasn't vacuumed in days, maybe weeks. Immediately noticed the dirt and poor maintainence. She advised us to wait in the lobby while they were getting our room ready. We walked up stairs to check in with another lady at the desk and placed our lunch orders. We purchased a private "gold room," hot tub soak, 50 minute Swedish massage, manicure, pedicure and lunch. Went up to the front desk (dirty glass counter) and was charged $450 right away. My mom and I walked in at 2:45pm for a 3pm appointment. Samantha Powell ( 05:57) First experience at this place. Paul Csuhta ( 04:38) Immaculately clean knowledgeable staff they never leave your side. Overall I’m just very dissatisfied with my nails. Although the nail tech was honestly very nice, I am not impressed with the salon. I don’t know if I received such terrible service because I got the package deal and it was cheaper than the usual price Or maybe it was because gratuity was added in the beginning (which I didn’t ask for). She did a decent job on my toe nails, but scrapping a tool 3-5 times across the bottom of my feet is not considered a pedicure. After 5 hours of leaving the salon, the polish had already chipped.My pedicure was nothing special, too. Leaving the salon, I realized that old polish had been left on my nails, there were parts of my nails that weren’t even polished, and the polish was bubbling. I did notice that she did seem to rush through and did a sloppy job with my manicure. When I first met with the nail tech she didn’t say much to me, which is okay because I’m not one for small talk. I was looking forward to it because my job is rough and I really needed a day to get pampered. I received a gift card for my birthday and I decided to get the spa package that includes a massage, manicure, and pedicure. I hate to complain, but I work very hard and very hard for my money. Based on the massages, I give the spa 5 stars. I have been to Sara and many others whose names unfortunately I have forgotten.
