An extensive writing schedule brought them to their first full length release. The band released their first single with New Age in 2017 titled "Ashes Lie and Wait".Ģ018 brought Safe and Sound to Europe for their first tour over as well as hitting the stage at This Is Hardcore Fest. The band's first release will be out this summer on New Age Records. Safe and Sound caught the eyes and ears of New Age Records staff at the “Standing Hard” fest 2016 and the gears were set in motion to work together. Safe and Sound "Only in Death" LP by New Age Records By the end of 2016, a second pressing of "Embers Still Remain" was released and the band began writing new material. They plated the “Hope For Shelter” fest in San Antonio, Texas. They released "Embers Still Remain", which was followed by a full U.S. The song and video has animal rights and vegan themes, which is a big part of the band's message. They continued touring the west coast, western Canada as well as Texas and released a music video for their song "Dream". In 2015, they began writing "Embers Still Remain", their second 7", which was released in early 2016. After gaining 3 new members in late 2014, they began writing and planning for a new era of Safe and Sound. With the release of that record came the departure of 3 of its band members. The Safe-n-Sound QuickFix has a narrow, compact, installed depth and width making it great for small cars and growing families requiring multiple seat. In 2014, they released their first 7" record entitled "The Tides". Throughout late 2013 and early 2014, the band spent some time touring the west coast and western Canada. From then until now, a lot has happened with Safe and Sound in terms of the music they play and the goals they have. After having some member changes and an addition of a second guitarist, the band played their first fest in 2013, Rainfest, in their hometown. In addition, a representative of the selected enterprises/organizations will be invited to the Annual Conference of the National Hearing Conservation Association, where they present their award winning stories and receive their award. Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin launched the Safe and Sound Task Force on April 1, 2022, with a multi-agency, Multi-sector, & child-centric approach. Those selected will be recognized for their role in improving working conditions in the United States. Safe-in-Sound Award™ winning stories are shared and showcased at special award ceremonies and in press releases disseminated to the occupational health and hearing research communities. The awards recognize those who demonstrate, by example, the benefits of developing or following good hearing loss prevention practices. In addition, individuals, organizations, and/or business entities from any industrial sector may also be recognized for innovative advances in the prevention of noise-induced hearing loss applicable to occupational exposures, with an award for Innovation in Hearing Loss Prevention. Applicants are evaluated against key performance indicators in a review process designed to evaluate hearing loss prevention programs in the workplace. The Safe-in-Sound Excellence in Hearing Loss Prevention Awards™ honor excellent hearing loss prevention (HLP) practices in the work environment. Safety and Health professionals worldwide use the published success stories as real-life, high profile examples. Safe-in-Sound Award™ winners are recognized not only for their documented results but also for their leadership. The Awards facilitate the sharing of leading edge best practices to improve the workplace. The objectives of this award are to recognize organizations that document measurable achievements in hearing loss prevention and to obtain and disseminate information on their real world successes. In 2018, the partnership was extended to include the Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC). This award is called the Safe-In-Sound Award. In 2007, The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) has partnered with the National Hearing Conservation Association (NHCA) to create an award for Excellence in Hearing Loss Prevention.
